Well, that was less than ideal.
As the race went back to green for a restart on lap 56 of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Pacific Office Automation 147 at Portland, a massive pileup took place.
As the field sped into turn 1 of the moist race course, Jade Buford lost traction and clipped Sheldon Creed. The contact sent Creed spinning and triggered a chain of events that caused 12 cars to slam into the incident.

As insult to injury, as he was attempting to get back up to speed, Creed slammed into the rear of the No. 36 car of Alex Labbe as Labbe was trying to get through the gears after the crash as well.
The 12 drivers involved in this crash were: Brett Moffitt, Spencer Pumpelly, Creed, Josh Berry, Noah Gragson, Daniel Hemric, Connor Mosack, Brandon Jones, Jeb Burton, Alex Labbe, Jade Buford and Brandon Brown.
