Spencer Boyd and Young’s Motorsports have added Derm Dude as a primary sponsor of the No. 12 truck for “several races” in 2022.

Spencer Boyd has added yet another new sponsor for the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season as Derm Dude will adorn his No. 12 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado as the primary sponsor for three races this season. In addition to their three-race primary sponsorship, Derm Dude will serve as an associate sponsor on the No. 12 machine in seven races.

According to a press release, the first race with the brand as the primary sponsor on his truck will be the Xpel 225 at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas on March 26th.

Boyd, who sports facial hair himself, is excited to do some activation with his new sponsorship partner, including a brand new tattoo.

“We’ve got some awesome things planned with this partnership,” commented Boyd. “I’ve already got the beard. I’m always working out my body. So, the last piece of the puzzle is a tattoo. That’s right, I’m getting a tattoo of a NASCAR win sticker to commemorate my first win and Derm Dude is going to be there documenting it. Add to that a killer paint scheme at some amazing race tracks and we’ve got the formula for a really fun season with Derm Dude.”

For Derm Dude, aligning with Boyd, one of the hardest working drivers when it comes to interaction with marketing partners, was a no-brainer.

“Spencer works harder than any other driver out there and that’s why he’s the perfect partner for our brand, because our products do the same.” according to Derm Dude ‘Chief Dude Officer’ Drew Plotkin.

It’s been a busy offseason for Spencer Boyd and the Young’s Motorsports team.

On January 7th, Boyd announced that he would be moving from the team’s No. 20 truck to drive their No. 12 entry in 2022. Then, on January 13th, Boyd and Young’s announced their anchor sponsor for the 2022 season in RimTyme.
