The draft is showing itself to be the great equalizer at the newly reconfigured Atlanta Motor Speedway, as we have seen a little different look to the names in the top portions of the speed charts in practice so far on Saturday.

In the NASCAR Xfinity Series practice session, it was Our Motorsports’ Jeb Burton who was quickest of them all.

Burton turned a lap of 30.993 sec., which was 0.034 sec. faster than Noah Gragson, who turned the second-fastest lap in the session.

Sam Mayer, Brett Moffitt and Kyle Weatherman rounded out the top-five fastest in NASCAR Xfinity Series practice. (Click here for the full practice results)

And while the session didn’t seem as intense as the Truck Series practice earlier in the day, the draft was still a massive impact as drivers were able to go full or near full throttle in the session and they were able to assemble packs.

It is starting to feel like it could be a truly wild Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
