Brandon Jones has been an absolute machine when it comes to single-car qualifying in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as of late, a trend that continued ahead of Saturday’s Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Putting down a time of 29.089 seconds (185.637mph) in Saturday’s single-car qualifying session, Jones secured his fourth pole of the season for Joe Gibbs Racing and his third pole in the last four NASCAR Xfinity Series events.

The triumph in qualifying also marks four consecutive poles for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, three of which have been at the hands of the No. 19 team, with Ty Gibbs securing the other at Bristol.

Noah Gragson, who has won each of the last three events in the Xfinity Series at Darlington, Kansas, and Bristol, will start alongside Jones on the front row, as he looks to continue his momentum into the NASCAR Playoffs.

Daniel Hemric, the defending champion of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will start from third place, with John Hunter Nemechek and Sam Mayer completing the top five. Justin Allgaier, AJ Allmendinger, Ty Gibbs, Austin Hill, and Jeremy Clements rounded out the top-10.

For Saturday’s 300-mile contest, three of the series’ 12 playoff-eligible drivers qualified outside the top-10, with Riley Herbst qualifying 11th, Ryan Sieg starting 14th, and Josh Berry qualifying 16th.

With only 38 cars entered for Saturday’s race at Texas Motor Speedway, all drivers will take the green flag for 300 miles around the 1.5-mile facility.
