Video: Fan Video Captures What Derailed Jeffrey Earnhardt’s Day at Daytona Road Course

In Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Super Start Batteries 188 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course, Jeffrey Earnhardt was shown on the FS1 broadcast limping around with an obliterated front end.

The damage happened on lap one of the race, but the FS1 broadcast never actually showed what happened to Earnhardt.

On Sunday, a Twitter user David PeQueen (@CarSDS2078) posted video from what happened to Earnhardt’s No. 0 ForeverLawn car.

Earnhardt entered turn six alongside Cody Ware’s No. 17 machine. However, Ware didn’t know Earnhardt was there or simply didn’t care to give the No. 0 car some space. This forced Earnhardt into the grass. His No. 0 car’s front end dug in and significant damage was done.

Earnhardt miraculously finished on the lead lap, thanks in part to two free passes, and salvaged a top-30 finish with a battered race car.
