Brandon Jones is done for the day after a hard impact into the tire barriers with six laps remaining in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Pacific Office Automation 147 at Portland International Raceway.
Chandler Smith dropped fluid on the track, and as he exited the track, a slew of cars began crashing into Turn 12. The Alpha Prime Racing teammates Ryan Ellis and Brennan Poole started spinning, and then all hell broke loose behind them.
Riley Herbst made slight contact with Blaine Perkins, which sent him spinning. In the chaos Brandon Jones also went hard into the tires.
