At the last minute, Noah Gragson found sponsorship in the form of the new toy set NASCAR Adventure Force for the 2019 Darlington Raceway race weekend. It was cool to see new sponsorship, but it didn’t yield a snazzy throwback scheme for Gragson.

On Thursday, Gragson revealed on Twitter that had the Adventure Force deal not come together, that he would have run a No. 9 Switch Chevrolet Camaro SS that would have thrown it back to Travis Pastrana’s NASCAR Xfinity Series driving days.

Pastrana, who is a legend in many forms of Motorsport and Action Sports, ran the iconic Boost Mobile scheme during eight races in the 2012 season. Pastrana’s best finish in the livery was a 13th-place effort at Indianapolis.

How cool would this alternate scheme have been?
