Video: Big Crash Collects Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson, William Byron and More

Denny Hamlin has been fast all night long in the Bojangles Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. Pole sitter William Byron had rebounded to fifth after issues on pit road earlier in the race. And Jimmie Johnson was in the midst of his best race of the 2019 season.

Then, out of nowhere Daniel Hemric lost a tire and caused the field to bottle up behind him.

Carnage ensued which sent Michael McDowell hard into the wall. Hamlin, Johnson and Byron were swept up as well with nowhere to go.
