On the final lap of stage one, both Kyle Weatherman and Tommy Joe Martins have seen their chances of scoring a stellar top-15 runs hurt, after contact from the Mike Harmon Racing No. 47, sent both himself and Martins into the outside wall in turn one.

From initial assessment, Kyle Weatherman’s No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro suffered minimum damage, while Tommy Joe Martins’ No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro sustained some significant damage from the wall impact.

Both Martins and Weatherman were able to continue in the event, while staying on the lead lap, and will look to recoup all of the positions the incident cost both drivers.
