NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor Stewart Friesen is well-known for his intense schedule of extracurricular dirt racing, much like that of NASCAR Cup Series winners Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell. With the extra races on Friesen’s schedule, comes the extra risk of a scary accident, like the one that Friesen experienced on Thursday Night.
While leading just before the halfway point in a Dirt Modified event at The Rev, Friesen hooked a rut entering the first corner, sending his No. 44 Halmar International entry skywards in a massive tumble, with the vehicle landing upside down on the dirt in the middle of turns one and two.
NASCAR on Reddit user u/rwilliams1283 posted a video of Friesen’s scary accident to the sub-reddit on Friday Morning.

Friesen was able to walk away from the accident under his own power and posted a picture of the damage to his Dirt Modified, as well as an update to his race fans on Friday Morning.
We hooked a rut and broke the right rear hub and that sent us for a nasty flip in turn one at The Rev. We’re ok and we’ll be back at Super Bee tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for checking in. pic.twitter.com/B3tKqGZjpV
