After leading the first portion of Sunday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Pocono Green 225 at Pocono Raceway, Harrison Burton will find himself recording another finish outside the top-30, after his No. 20 DEX Imaging Toyota Supra looped around in turn one, impacting the outside wall with significant force.

While battling for the runner-up spot, Burton got loose underneath the No. 7 of Justin Allgaier, causing his Toyota Supra to spin up the racetrack and into the outside wall. The damage on Burton’s Joe Gibbs Racing entry was too severe to continue in the event, which will relegate the second-year driver to a 36th-place finish.

The accident continues an unfortunate stretch of races for Burton, who has recorded three finishes of 30th-place or worse in the last four NASCAR Xfinity Series events, a series of events which has dropped him from second to fourth in regular season standings entering Sunday at Pocono.
