Video: Riley Herbst: ‘He Has More to Lose Than I Do’ After Being Crashed by Gragson at Texas

Riley Herbst became the latest victim to Noah Gragson’s aggressive driving style Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series My Bariatric Solutions 300.

Herbst and Gragson were running top-10 on lap five, when all of a sudden Herbst got a little loose in the turn. Gragson did not slow down, and tapped the No. 18 car, which sent Herbst into the wall.

Herbst and his No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing team attempted to get their car back on track, but were unable to meet the minimum speed. As such, Herbst’s day was over after nine laps.

After a trip to the infield care center, Herbst, who has been a friend of Gragson’s as they both grew up racing in Las Vegas, didn’t seem to friendly. Herbst says that Gragson has a lot more to lose than he does going forward in the season.

Gragson has had run-ins this season with Ross Chastain, Myatt Snider, Justin Allgaier, Harrison Burton and now Herbst.

The incident between Gragson and Burton led to a brawl at the end of last week’s race at Kentucky Speedway.
