Carson Hocevar, one of the eight NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Playoff contenders, was black flagged with under 10 laps left in Friday night’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for intentionally bringing out a caution.
Hocevar had radioed to his team that he had developed a vibration and would have to hit pit road.
As Hocevar peeled onto the apron, he noticeably knifed the wheel back and forth and caused his truck to spin. This brought out a yellow, which saved him from losing time on pit road with the vibration.
Here is video of the incident:

NASCAR saw the obvious intentional spin and held Hocevar for a lap. Hocevar would end up 22nd in the race, two laps off the pace.
Hocevar was one of the many Playoff drivers who found trouble at Las Vegas.
John Hunter Nemechek had mechanical issues, while Sheldon Creed and Chandler Smith were involved in a scary crash.
