Video: Justin Haley Exits Busch Light Clash After Hard Crash While Running Fourth

Justin Haley crash Busch Clash
Justin Haley took a hard hit to the inside wall with 34 laps to go in the Busch Light Clash.

Justin Haley had an incredible week at the LA Memorial Coliseum, but it all came to a crashing end with 34 laps remaining in the Busch Light Clash. Haley was running fourth, but while battling Kyle Larson for position, Larson cut low, into Haley, which sent Haley into the inside concrete barrier.

Here is the crash that ended Haley’s race:

Haley said the issue started when he was shot into the back of Larson after a tap from behind from William Byron. Haley believes Byron mistook that contact as being initiated by the No. 31 car.

“The 24 got into the back of me and shoved me into Kyle, then Kyle just came down and put me into danger,” Haley explained. “Not really impressed with the move. It’s hard to be a rookie and gain respect. The 18 just passed him clean and then he turned down…”

Haley felt the way his race ended was, “…kind of B.S.”
