Full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver, Erik Jones, has made hard contact with the right-side wall entering turn six at Watkins Glen International, with his No. 31 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevrolet Camaro coming to rest in the gravel trap in the corner.
The Jordan Anderson Racing entry appeared to lose brakes at the entrance to turn six, with the Bommarito Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro swerving to the right and impacting the wall.

Jones, running a one-off for Jordan Anderson Racing, will pilot the No. 43 Clean Harbors Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Petty Motorsports in Sunday Afternoon’s NASCAR Cup Series race.The driver of the No. 31 would be forced to retire from the event and finish 36th, but was able to exit the car under his own power.
