Well, that could have been a horrendous start to the weekend.
In the early portion of opening Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice for Sunday’s Go Bowling at the Glen, Matt Tifft got loose and spun across the race track right in front of Joey Logano, Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin.
Somehow as Tifft’s No. 36 Ford Mustang trailed smoke as it slowly skidded across the track, Logano, Elliott and Hamlin were all able to avoid tagging him.
