Video: Contact on Overtime Restarts Triggers 15-Truck Wreck at Knoxville Raceway

We’ve done this too many times this year….

For the second-time this season, contact on a late-race restart has created a HUGE, HUGE crash in Friday Night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Knoxville Raceway. The wreck happened when Jake Griffin’s No. 34 Chevrolet Silverado got turned around by Donny Schatz, collecting pretty much everyone else behind him, with NASCAR listing at least 16 trucks involved.

The race was red-flagged immediately, as cleanup would be extensive in the first corner.
