Video: Contact Between SS Greenlight Racing Teammates Collects Starr, Sieg at Texas

Ryan Sieg and David Starr were collected in an accident late in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Texas Motor Speedway, which would result in the No. 39’s retirement.

That’s a teammate… Contact between SS Green Light Racing teammates Joe Graf Jr. and David Starr has resulted in a multi-car pileup inside the final 50 laps of Saturday’s SRS Distribution 250 at Texas.

Graf, who was running outside the top-20 at the time of the accident, attempted to force it three-wide on Starr, making contact with the right-rear of the entry, sending him up the track into Ryan Sieg.

All three drivers were initially able to continue further into the event, but eventually, Ryan Sieg would have a flat right-rear tire, sending the No. 39 Ford Mustang into the outside wall, and ending the RSS Racing team’s afternoon, with a finish of 35th.

Alex Labbe was also involved in the incident with 40 laps left, but made extremely minor contact with the No. 08 of David Starr. However, the damage was so minor, that he didn’t even hit the pit road.
