Hailie Deegan [4] send Bret Holmes [23] for a spin in turn one, after contact on lap 70 of 200.
For the second time in the first 70 laps of the ARCA Menards Series Zinsser SmartCoat 200 at I-44 Speedway, contact from Hailie Deegan’s No. 4 Monster Energy Ford Fusion has sent a driver for a spin, and this time it was Bret Holmes’ No. 23 Chevrolet.

Holmes, Deegan and Sam Mayer were battling for the top-spot coming to the first scheduled race break, when contact between the cars of Deegan and Holmes sent the No. 23 for a spin in turn two. All three drivers received some damage in the incident, but would still be able to recover for solid top-five results.

Holmes was very vocal post-race about the incident, dishing his thoughts and feelings about the incident in post-race coverage on MAVTV.

Chandler Smith, who was involved in an incident with both Hailie Deegan and Bret Holmes on Saturday Night, had this to say in response to Holmes’ comments.
