The racing throughout the entirety of the Zinsser Smart Coat 200 at I-44 Speedway was at no shortage for action, as many cars made aggressive moves throughout the race in order to gain valuable track position.

On lap 49 of 200, Ty Gibbs and Michael Self made contact in turns one and two, while battling for second, sending the No. 25 of Self into a half-spin.  Neither driver was on the receiving end of much damage from the incident, and the race was able to stay under green-flag conditions.

Both Gibbs’s No. 18 and Self’s No.25 would go on to be involved in additional accidents later in the race, resulting in some damaged cars and hurt feelings at the end of the event.
