An absolutely disastrous final pit stop for Chase Elliott’s No. 9 pit crew.
Elliott came to pit road, while running second when the caution came out with nine laps left in Sunday’s Verizon 200 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. As the pit crew came to the right side of the car, the car went up on the jack, and as the front tire was removed, the car fell flat onto the ground.
