Video: Chase Elliott Pounds Wall on Lap 10 at Texas Motor Speedway

FORT WORTH, Texas — Well, that’s not how you work your way back into Playoff contention. Chase Elliott, who suffered mechanical failures in Martinsville, pounded the wall in turn two on lap 10 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Elliott now sits in 40th position numerous laps off the pace. His shot at a win is done and his hopes for clinching a spot in the Championship 4 are now on life support.
