On Wednesday, it was Bubba Wallace’s turn to finally get behind the wheel of NASCAR’s NextGen car to give the machine a test and give his input on the drivability of the car.
Wallace was not driving a manufacturer-specific model, but rather one of the initial prototypes that NASCAR has tested each time to this point. Specific manufacturer tests of their editions of the NextGen will be coming in the very near future. But for Wednesday, Wallace was putting NASCAR’s prototype through the paces at the 0.75-mile Richmond Raceway short track.
Some video has emerged from the test from Natalie Kalibat, an on-air anchor for ABC 8 News in Richmond, and this video really gives you a great view of how the car attacks the track and you get to hear the mean sounding exhaust.
