Drivers were pushing their cars and themselves to the limit in Sunday’s Jockey 250 at Road America.
Alex Bowman pushed his No. 48 car too hard going into turn 5 in the closing laps and bumped his teammate, Kyle Larson on Lap 56.
Both drivers were in the top five at the time of the incident.

Bowman immediately came over the radio and apologized for the contact, claiming that the cause was a lack of rear brakes.
Following the spin, Larson was relegated to the 12th position.
Both drivers failed to finish within the top ten following the contact, as teammate Chase Elliott took home the win in the Cup Series’ return to the iconic road course.
