It will be an early end to the day for the NASCAR Xfinity Series points leader, Austin Cindric, after a bump draft gone wrong sent the No. 22 Team Penske Ford Mustang darting to the right in front of the entire back, resulting in significant damage for the North Carolina-native.

The accident happened when Myatt Snider got into the back of Austin Cindric, spinning the No. 22 CarShop Ford Mustang into the outside wall, collecting a number of top-tier competitors in the process. Michael Annett, Myatt Snider, Daniel Hemric and Sam Mayer were also involved in the accident.

Cindric was unable to continue in the event, which would result in the points leader finishing in 39th-place. Myatt Snider and Michael Annett were able to return to the track one lap down, while Daniel Hemric and Sam Mayer were able to make repairs while staying on the lead lap.
