Tyler Reddick had a wild night at Bristol Motor Speedway in the Food City 300, but at the end of all the chaos there he was standing in victory lane for the fourth time in 2019.

Reddick’s car failed pre-race inspection four times, which meant he would start at the rear of the field and would suffer a pass through penalty on the initial start of the race. He would go a lap down. He would get a timely caution and would rally back to the front by the end of Stage 1.

Then he made a mistake and went spinning back to 24th.

Reddick then battled back to second, where he would remain the majority of the race.

Justin Allgaier looked to be cruising to his first win of the year, but with 11 laps to go Allgaier slammed into the wall, which handed the lead and the win the Reddick.

Chase Briscoe finished in the runner-up spot, John Hunter Nemechek rebounded from a flat tire earlier in the race to finish third, and underdog Jeremy Clements came home an impressive fourth.

Austin Cindric’s two-race winning streak ended with a fifth-place effort from the pole.

Two drivers who deserve a pat on the back are Gray Gaulding and Timmy Hill who came home sixth and seventh.

Allgaier still finished eighth despite his misfortunes late in the race. Allgaier led 131 laps on the night.

Michael Annett finished ninth after backing into the fence earlier in the race and Landon Cassill rounded out the top-10 finishers.
