Tyler Reddick Driving for Jordan Anderson Racing at Circuit of The Americas

According to NASCAR’s Team Roster Portal, Tyler Reddick will join the rapidly-increasing list of NASCAR Cup Series drivers participating in the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ inaugural event at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas next weekend, as the 25-year-old driver will pilot the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro for Jordan Anderson Racing, in the team’s attempt to make their NASCAR Xfinity Series debut.

Entering this season, Jordan Anderson Racing had originally planned to run full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with team owner Jordan Anderson, but when qualifying rained out for the season-opening Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner 300 at Daytona, the organization was left in a bad position when it came to making events that didn’t have qualifying.

Jordan Anderson Racing Expands into Full-Time Xfinity Series Competition

In his second-year of NASCAR Cup Series competition for Richard Childress Racing, the additional experience is a benefit to both Reddick and Jordan Anderson Racing, who is looking to finally place the No. 31 into the Xfinity Series for the remainder of the season, needing to gain more than 50 points on 40th in Xfinity Series Owner Standings.

Throughout the first nine races of the season, Reddick has run a pair of NASCAR Xfinity Series events for Our Motorsports | RSS Racing in the No. 23 Chevrolet Camaro, earning a best finish of 12th-place at Las Vegas, after his second-place run at Homestead was taken away because of a post-race inspection failure.

Reddick joins Cole Custer, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch and AJ Allmendinger as the five drivers that are currently announced to be running the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series events at Circuit of The Americas.
