UPDATE: According to a report by Zach Sturniolo of Frontstretch, Majeski will pilot the No. 66 Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing in his two NCWTS events this season.

ThorSport Racing will field a fifth entry in a pair of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events this season, with Ty Majeski scheduled to be behind the wheel at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Majeski competed in 15 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events for Niece Motorsports last season, scoring a best finish of eighth at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In 15 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, Majeski has a best finish of seventh for Roush Fenway Racing.

“I’m extremely thankful for this opportunity here at ThorSport Racing and I’m ready to make the most of it. I’ve been hands on working at the shop for the last couple months and I’m going to be as prepared as I possibly can be. I know Bud (Haefele) and the guys on the team will put a great truck underneath me. I can’t wait to head to Charlotte and get to work.”

Majeski has continued to build an impressive resume in the short track | late model community, claiming victories in the 2020 Snowball Derby and the Rattler 250 in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020. Other accomplishments include winning the Dick Trickle 99 at Dells Raceway Park, two-time Sliger Nationals Champion, two-time Dixieland 250 champion, three-time Oktoberfest 200 champion, as well as the inaugural Alan Kulwicki Driver Development Program champion in 2015.

No additional information for the truck has been released at this time.
