Video: Kyle Busch Exits Darlington Truck Race Early After Two Incidents in First 15 Laps

Kyle Busch’s final Craftsman Truck Series start of 2024 did not go as planned, as the No. 7 Chevrolet received substantial damage from two early accidents.

Busch, who qualified fourth, was battling with the No. 11 of Corey Heim on lap two when he got loose under Heim out of turn two, sending his truck spinning and into the inside wall.

Busch brought his BAMF Enterprises Chevrolet to pit road, where he lost four laps to the leaders while his crew made repairs.

Not long after the ensuing restart, Busch had a right front tire go down into turn three, sending his truck up into the outside wall. This damage proved to be terminal, as he would bring his truck to the garage, ending his race after just six laps.

With the DNF, this race becomes only the third in Busch’s 1,230 races across the NASCAR National Series that he failed to complete at least ten laps, and it is Busch’s first Truck Series DNF since Pocono in 2017.
