Spire Motorsports has ended its NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series agreement with REV Racing, TobyChristie.com has learned.

The organization, which fields multiple entries in both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, had provided REV Racing with equipment and personnel for the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign.

It was those resources that allowed Nick Sanchez to pilot the No. 2 Gainbridge Chevrolet Silverado full-time in 2024, capturing a pair of victories at Daytona International Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway, before finishing fifth in points.

That relationship was originally forged at the beginning of the 2023 NASCAR Truck Series campaign between REV and Kyle Busch Motorsports, who at season’s end, elected to sell all of its assets to Spire Motorsports.

“The agreement between Spire [Motorsports] and REV Racing expired at the end of the 2024 season,” a team representative confirmed to TobyChristie.com. “Spire elected not to pursue a renewal of that agreement and enter a fourth Spire Motorsports truck in 2025.”

Spire Motorsports plans to field the No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2025, along with the three numbers that the team utilized last season – the No. 7, No. 71, and No. 77.

Rajah Caruth was re-signed to pilot the No. 71 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Silverado for the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign, while Hendrick Motorsports development driver Corey Day was recently announced to be competing in eight events in the team’s No. 7.

The representative from Spire Motorsports also tells TobyChristie.com that the organization is in “active dialogue” with REV Racing about what happens with the Owner Points from the No. 2 Chevrolet from 2024 – which ranked fifth overall.

Additional announcements regarding the team’s 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver lineup will be announced at a later date.

TobyChristie.com has reached out to REV Racing requesting a comment on the end of its partnership with Spire Motorsports, but as of the time of publishing, has yet to receive a response.
