Ryan Vargas will have a familiar partner as the primary sponsor of his No. 30 On Point Motorsports Toyota Tundra this weekend in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Richmond Raceway.

Richmond-based Williamsburg Contracting LLC will return as the primary sponsor for Vargas, marking the second race that the company has been a primary sponsor in the NASCAR National Series ranks.

The company debuted as a primary sponsor for Vargas in last fall’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Martinsville Speedway.

The No. 30 paint scheme, which was designed by Royal T Graphics, will have a white base, and it will feature black accents along the sides of the truck. The truck will also heavily feature bricks, which tie into Williamsburg Contracting’s main line of business.

It’s a good-looking truck, for sure.

In addition to the primary sponsorship from Williamsburg Contracting, Vargas will carry associate sponsorship from Riverside Residential and SHENCO Custom Diecast.

The No. 30 truck will also feature another Richmond-local company — Hillco Disposal on the bed of the machine.

For Vargas, who has built his career on bolstering partnerships, he’s excited to continue his relationship with Williamsburg Contracting LLC. The company first supported Vargas at Richmond last spring, as they served as an associate sponsor on the lower quarter panel of the No. 6 JD Motorsports machine that Vargas piloted in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at the time.

The 22-year-old driver tells TobyChristie.com that he initially met Aaron Beavers, the Founder and President of Williamsburg Contracting LLC, in the parking lot at Richmond Raceway last spring, and the two worked out the terms of the associate sponsorship on the spot.

A year and a half later, the partnership is still going strong.

It’s been a busy few weeks for Vargas.

Back on July 18th, Vargas was named the Director of Team and Driver Development for 3F Racing, and then on July 21st, Vargas saw his documentary VARGAS FLYING START, which was produced by Engle Digital, go live on YouTube.

Vargas has made a total of five NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts in 2023, with a best finish of eighth coming at Texas Motor Speedway back in April.
