Max McLaughlin, Hattori Racing Enterprises Working Hard on Multi-Race Truck Series Program

PC: Max McLaughlin | Facebook

Despite what can only be described as a crazy dirt schedule, Max McLaughlin and Hattori Racing Enterprises are working hard to put together a multi-race schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for next season, according to a Tweet from McLaughlin on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old is part of Toyota’s driver development program – TRD — and has run for Hattori Racing Enterprises in the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series east since 2019.

The Mooresville, North Carolina-native claimed his only ARCA Menards Series East victory at Watkins Glen International in 2019, eventually finishing fifth in final point standings, with four top-fives and eight top-10s in 12 starts.

Prior to joining TRD, McLaughlin made his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Eldora Speedway in 2018, bringing the NIECE Motorsports No. 38 Chevrolet Silverado home in 12th.

No official details regarding McLaughlin’s 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series plans have been announced, but McLaughlin says he hopes to share the news soon.

Hattori Racing Enterprises currently fields one full-time truck for Austin Hill – No. 16 Toyota Tundra — and has a technical alliance with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing – which fields the No. 19 Toyota Tundra for Derek Kraus.
