The nucleus of the Niece Motorsports NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team will remain intact for 2023 as Lawless Alan will officially return to the team for the full schedule.

“We are excited to have Lawless return to Niece Motorsports this season,” said Niece Motorsports General Manager Cody Efaw. “Lawless gained a lot of experience and got a lot of seat time last season that we really think is going to pay off this year. We are excited to see his growth this season. He’s a hard worker and is always asking questions and learning from the people around him. He definitely has the right attitude to be successful in this sport.”

Alan, 22, rejoins Carson Hocevar as a teammate, Hocevar’s return was announced back on December 8th.

According to a press release from Niece Motorsports, Alan will once again run the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado for the team and he will bring back longtime sponsorship partner AUTOParkit.

“I am very excited to be returning to Niece Motorsports in 2023 with AUTOParkit,” said Alan in the release. “I am looking forward to using everything I learned throughout last year and applying it to this year. I’m no longer coming to these tracks for the first time, so I have very high expectations for what I can achieve with Niece Motorsports and AUTOParkit.”

Alan will also have sponsorship from Siemens with secondary sponsorship from Garage 24.

During his rookie campaign, Alan finished 22nd in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series point standings and the California native recorded a best finish of 11th, which came at Circuit of the Americas.

Alan will look to secure his first top-10 finish in 2023.
