Carson Hocevar led the final 40 laps of Friday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway on his path to victory. The 20-year-old racer held off Zane Smith and a hard-charging Nick Sanchez in the closing laps to secure his second-career NASCAR Truck Series win, and second win of the year.

Following post race inspection, NASCAR officially declared Hocevar the winner of the race as his No. 42 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado cleared tech.

The only issue in post-race inspection was an unsecured lug nut on Tanner Gray’s No. 15 TRICON Garage Toyota Tundra, which will result in a monetary fine for his crew chief.

Zane Smith’s No. 38 truck, Nick Sanchez’s No. 2 truck, and Tyler Ankrum’s No. 16 truck will all go back to NASCAR R&D for further evaluation.

All results and standings following Friday night’s race are now considered official.

Behind the trio of Hocevar, Smith, and Sanchez were Corey Heim and Bayley Currey in the fourth and fifth positions.

Chase Purdy, Matt DiBenedetto, Tyler Ankrum, Ben Rhodes, and Jake Garcia rounded out the top 10 finishers.
