Howie DiSavino III Returning to Jordan Anderson Racing at Texas Motor Speedway

Howie DiSavino III is set to return to Jordan Anderson Racing for his second start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this weekend, piloting the No. 3 Good Sam Chevrolet Silverado in Saturday Afternoon’s SpeedyCash.com 220 at Texas Motor Speedway.

The Chesterfield, Virginia-native will inherit driving duties from team owner Jordan Anderson, who despite being listed on NASCAR’s preliminary entry list, will shift his focus to competing in Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 250 Presented by Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, where Anderson will look to secure the fourth top-10 finish for Jordan Anderson Racing in four NASCAR Xfinity Series starts.

Earlier this season, DiSavino joined Jordan Anderson Racing for his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Richmond Raceway, bringing the No. 3 Kee’s Travel | Bud’s Plumbing Chevrolet Silverado home 34th, after mecahnical issues plauged the truck throughout the event, requiring multiple unscheduled stops on pit road.

Saturday’s SpeedyCash.com 220 in Forth Worth, Texas will prove to be one of the most challenging races of DiSavino’s young career, as the Chesterfield, Virginia-native has never turned a lap on an intermediate track, in any racing vehicle, with all six of his ARCA Menards Series starts being contested on short tracks or superspeedways.

Entering Texas, Jordan Anderson Racing’s No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado sits 31st in 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Owner Points, picking up one top-five and two top-10 finishes with the trucks’s driving duties featuring a rotating roster of DiSavino, along with Jordan Anderson, Bobby and Roger Reuse, Keith McGee and JR Heffner.
