On Monday Morning’s edition of ‘The Morning Drive’ on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Todd Gordon announced that he would be stepping away from his role at Team Penske, following the conclusion of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Gordon, who currently serves as the crew chief for Ryan Blaney’s No. 12 Ford Mustang, says that he’s made “a family decision that [2021] will be my last year sitting on the pit box.”

While sitting on the pit box, Gordon has amassed 30 NASCAR National Series victories – 23 in the NASCAR Cup Series and seven in the NASCAR Xfinity Series — most of which are a result of a seven-year run with Joey Logano, which netted Team Penske 21 wins and the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series Championship.

Team Penske has since confirmed the reports to TobyChristie.com, but declined to provide an official statement at this point in time.
