Chase Briscoe’s Sunday is already going much better than his Saturday did, as the Stewart-Haas Racing driver has won stage two at Dover International Speedway, his fifth stage win of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

Briscoe started at the rear in Sunday’s race, after an early race accident forced the No. 98 team to a backup car for Sunday’s event.

Saturday’s winner Justin Allgaier finished runner-up in stage two, followed by Ross Chastain, Austin Cindric and Noah Gragson inside the top-five.

Neither of the playoff bubble drivers – Brandon Brown and Jeremey Clements — earned stage points in the second stage of the race.

The only caution flag in stage two occured on lap 65 when Jeffrey Earnhardt made contact with the turn one wall after getting help from Riley Herbst.
