It had been speculated that this Sunday’s NASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series would be televised on FS1, Thursday we have our first confirmation that the race will indeed be televised.

In a release from Hendrick Motorsports, it is revealed that the race will be aired on FS1 on Sunday at 1:30 PM ET, and will feature commentary from Jeff Gordon, Mike Joy and Larry McReynolds.

FOX Sports has since confirmed the news:

HMS states that their drivers Chase Elliott, William Byron and Alex Bowman will all compete in the race.

It has also already been announced that Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, Clint Bowyer and Christopher Bell will compete.

The race will be contested at the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway.

A full entry list is expected soon, but this should provide an entertaining way for NASCAR fans to whet their appetite for racing while the world is on lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
