When the NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to the half-mile paperclip of Martinsville Speedway, Brandonbilt Motorsports will have a familiar partner on board the No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro, in the form of Solid Rock Carriers.

Solid Rock Carriers is a truck business – based out of LaGrange, North Carolina — that specializes in the transportation of refrigerated products. The company was founded in 1997 and is owned by Kirk Ipock, an individual very active in the racing community.

Most notable of its racing partnerships is being the presenting sponsor of the CARS Late Model Tour since 2020, recently re-signing for another two seasons in November. Additionally, the company partnered with Brown in the Fall 2020 event at Martinsville.

“I’m thrilled to have another partner return for the 2022 season. Solid Rock Carriers are big supporters of small teams and grassroots racing,” said Brandon Brown. “It’s great to have the support of Kirk, his family and his business as we take on the paperclip.”

Brown heads to Martinsville Speedway after scoring a top-10 result in last weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Richmond Raceway. “Getting that top-10 at Richmond Raceway was exactly what our team needed. It was definitely a confidence booster for everyone,” Brown said.

The Brandonbilt Motorsports driver enters the eighth race of the season sitting 13th in NASCAR Xfinity Series point standings, tied with Sheldon Creed for the final spot in the series’ playoff field.

“It’s a place where you know you have to fight to stay alive. It’s just a track with a lot of contact. We’re bringing the same car that we used in Richmond, even though we had already wrapped and prepped a different one. It just ran so well in Richmond that the crew chief decided to run it again in Martinsville.

Brown, just like the other 42 drivers entered in the event, has aspirations of winning the infamous Ridgeway Clock, presented to the winners of events at Martinsville Speedway.

“Our ultimate goal this weekend is to take home the famed Ridgeway Clock, but we’re also sticking to a game plan of maximizing the points for the day. We want to learn as much as we can about Martinsville for the next time around. The next time that we’ll be there is the playoffs.”

The No. 68 Solid Rock Carriers Chevrolet Camaro will hit the track on Friday, April 8 at Martinsville Speedway, with the race airing live on FOX Sports 1 at 7:30 pm ET.
