Ryan Newman will attempt to qualify for the inaugural Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, joining Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick, Chase Briscoe and Martin Truex Jr. as the fifth full-time NASCAR Cup Series competitor to enter the event.

As reported by Bob Pockrass on Wednesday Afternoon, Newman will pilot the No. 39 Coca-Cola / Aggressive Hydraulics Ford F-150 for Brad Means, son of NASCAR Xfinity Series owner Jimmy Means. If Newman is able to qualify into the event, it will be his eighth start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

TobyChristie.com has attempted to reach out to both Brad Means and a representative for Ryan Newman, but all requests for comment have gone unanswered at the time of publishing.

This story will be updated with additional information, when / if it is provided.
