Candy Racing NFT NASCAR Race Team Alliance
The Race Team Alliance will partner with Candy Digital to form a new 23-NFT lineup featuring cars in the 2022 Daytona 500.

Sports NFTs, they’re all the rage right now. Well, now, the Race Team Alliance is getting into the game in a big way as they’ve partnered with Candy Digital to provide digital collectables in a new line of NFT called “Candy Racing.”

According to a press release from the RTA, race fans will be able to purchase unique “digi-cast” NFT editions of 23 NASCAR Cup race cars at candy.com/racing beginning Tuesday, February 15th until the drop of the green flag at the 2022 Daytona 500.

The RTA is excited to bring a new style of collectable to race fans.

“Collectibles are a part of the fabric of motorsports and we’re excited to partner with Candy Digital to bring best-in-class digital collectibles to market for our Cup Series race teams and drivers,” said Jonathan Marshall, executive director of the RTA. “This is our first of many upcoming product launches and commemorates the stars of our sport, the launch of the Next Gen car and the start of the 2022 season.”

Candy Digital will have a bundle purchase, where fans can obtain all 23 “digi-casts” for a lump-sum of $500. That bundle will be available for the first 500 minutes of the product drop.

After the first 500 minutes of the drop, it will cost $1,000 to snag all 23 NFTs.

Each “digi-cast” will have a dynamic animation, which will deconstruct each team car with their Daytona 500 paint scheme. The NFT will give fans a first hand look at not only the paint schemes for the car, but the inner workings of NASCAR’s new NextGen race car, as well.

Candy Digital sees this as a fresh new take on NFTs.

“Candy Racing” marks our entry into the high-energy world of motorsports, and we’re thrilled to offer racing fans a new way to engage with the teams and drivers they love ahead of one of the most prestigious races of the year,” said Scott Lawin, CEO of Candy Digital. “We’re grateful to partner with the Race Team Alliance and their respective teams as we continue to create new digital experiences for both fans and collectors.”

The new line of NFT will be available for purchase beginning February 15th at 9AM ET. Open Edition NFTs for each car will be sold at $50 until Sunday, February 20th at 2:00 PM ET.

Fans that own the “digi-casts” of the top three finishers of the 2022 Daytona 500 will be air dropped a unique NFT commemorating the winner of the 2022 Daytona 500.

All of the teams and drivers included in the NFT line are:
