Zane Smith has had a really impressive rookie season. He’s captured Stage Wins, and his first-career win at Michigan International Speedway. On Friday, he scored even more Playoff Points as he captured the Stage 2 win in the KDI Office Technology 200 at Dover International Speedway.

The 21-year old worked his way around fellow rookie Derek Kraus with three laps left in the Stage.

The Stage ended under caution as the third place finisher in the Stage — Christian Eckes — made contact with his Kyle Busch Motorsports teammate Chandler Smith. This sent Smith into the wall.

Sheldon Creed finished the Stage in fourth and Brett Moffitt — who is looking for his first race win of 2020 — was fifth.

Todd Gilliland, Ben Rhodes, Johnny Sauter, Tyler Ankrum and Matt Crafton rounded out the top-10 in Stage 2.

Stage and Playoff Points Awarded in Stage 2:

Finish Driver Stage Points Playoff Points
1 Zane Smith 10 1
2 Derek Kraus 9 0
3 Christian Eckes 8 0
4 Sheldon Creed 7 0
5 Brett Moffitt 6 0
6 Todd Gilliland 5 0
7 Ben Rhodes 4 0
8 Johnny Sauter 3 0
9 Tyler Ankrum 2 0
10 Matt Crafton 1 0
