Riley Herbst Wins the Pole for Season Opener at Daytona, Nemecheks and Jeff Hammond Miss Show

Riley Herbst sent his No. 51 Monster Energy / ORCA Coolers Toyota Tundra to the top of the board on Friday Afternoon, putting down a blistering 49.544s (181.657MPH) lap to put the Kyle Busch Motorsports truck on the point for Friday’s 250 miler.

This is Herbst’s 1st Career NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Pole, and the record 58th all-time for Kyle Busch Motorsports.

Riley Herbst, Brett Moffitt, Christian Eckes, Ross Chastain & Johnny Sauter will lead the field to the green flag.

The No. 10 of Jennifer Jo Cobb, No. 87 of Joe Nemechek, No. 68 of Clay Greenfield, No. 6 of Norm Benning, No. 49 of Ray Ciccarelli, No. 8 of John Hunter Nemchek and No. 96 of Todd Peck all failed to qualify.

The No. 34 of Josh Reaume blew an engine in final practice had withdrew shortly before the Qualifying Session began.
