Rick Ware Racing’s No. 51 Chevrolet, which will be driven by Cody Ware in the season-opening Daytona 500, will have a new associate sponsor for the 2019 season.

According to a press release, RFID Solutions, Inc. — a Florida-based company that specializes in high-quality, easy to use, enterprise read, RAIN RFID systems to the global RFID market — has signed on for placement on the vehicle for the entirety of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season.

“I am excited to be partnering with RFID Solutions, Inc. for the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season,” commented Cody Ware. “James and his team have been great to work with, and I look forward to expanding our partnership in 2019 and beyond.”

The No. 51 team will have a Charter for the 2019 season, so they will be guaranteed entry into every event that takes place at the Cup Series level.

For RFID Solutions, the sponsorship decision was a no-brainer.

“NASCAR has proven to be a successful marketing tool for RFID Solutions, Inc. over the years,” said James Snyder, President, RFID Solutions, Inc. “We are happy to be part of the next generation of NASCAR drivers with Cody Ware, and believe RWR is the perfect partner to promote our company.”

Rick Ware Racing has 71 starts in the organization’s Cup Series history, and has never recorded a top-10 finish. The team’s best finish to date was a 12th-place finish in last season’s Daytona 500 with Justin Marks behind the wheel.

Cody Ware will look to best that effort in a few weeks during the Daytona 500.
