According to two separate reports, one from Motorsport.com’s Jim Utter and one from Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern, the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series All-Star race looks to be on the move from Charlotte Motor Speedway to Bristol Motor Speedway.

This will mark just the second time in the NASCAR All-Star Race’s history, which spans back to 1985, that the event will not be run at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The only other time the event was held at another track than Charlotte was the 1986 edition, which was contested at Atlanta.

According to the report from Motorsport.com, the race will keep the date and time that was already announced, 7 PM ET on Wednesday, July 15th. Television coverage will remain FS1.

Sports Business Journal states in their report that the official announcement could be made as early as Monday night’s episode of NASCAR RaceHub on FS1.
