NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rookie of The Year Contender Hailie Deegan, will look to make the next step up in her NASCAR National Series career in 2022, as the 20-year-old hopes to break onto the scene of the NASCAR Xfinity Series part-time in 2022, while continuing to hold down a full-time ride in the NASCAR Truck Series.

Adam Stern – of Sports Business Journal — broke the news on social media on Wednesday Night, after speaking with the Temecula, California-native about her plans for the 2022 racing season, as well as how she’s using various social media platforms in order to draw in potential sponsorship that will allow her to continue racing.

Entering Saturday’s United Rentals 176 at Watkins Glen International, Deegan sits 17th-place in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points, after a season that has resulted in three top-15 and six top-20 finishes throughout the first 14 races, including a pair of 13th-place results at Kansas and Charlotte.

While the 20-year-old wasn’t specific on the organization(s) in which she’ll be piloting entries for in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2022, Deegan does have a driver development contract with Ford Performance, which would lead many to believe that she’ll once again be part of the Ford camp in 2022.
