Drew Herring had a successful NASCAR Cup Series debut in the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, as he nabbed a 29th-place finish for Gaunt Brothers Racing.

After it was discovered that four teams manipulated the outcome of the race, Herring’s finish was enough to secure the No. 96 team an extra bonus for being the highest non-charter team in the series for the 2019 season.

However, according to a report with The Racing Experts, Herring has nothing lined up for the 2020 season — for now.

His Cup Series debut was just a one-race deal with Toyota and GBR, but Herring told The Racing Experts he willing to drive anything with a steering wheel and four tires.

“I want to do this a lot more, this is what I love to do, I love racing man, I want to be out here every week,” Herring said.
