Brandon Jones and Josh Berry had a hell of a battle going for the lead in Friday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Cook Out 250 at Martinsville Speedway. However, rain halted the action after 91 laps, and the weather would not relent. After midnight ET, NASCAR had no choice but to postpone the conclusion of the Xfinity Series event. The ending of the race has been moved to noon ET on Sunday. The race coverage will pick back up on FS1.

Behind Jones and Berry will be Daniel Hemric in third, Brett Moffitt in fourth and Jeb Burton — who was penalized earlier in the race for lagging to the choose cone area — will restart in fifth.

Ryan Sieg, Harrison Burton, Austin Cindric, Noah Gragson and Justin Allgaier will make up the remainder of the top-10 when the race gets back to green.

Before rain wiped out the on-track activity, the Cook Out 250 was quite intense. There were already four cautions for on-track incidents. The action will undoubtedly be just as intense on Sunday.
