Performance Plus Motor Oil has a partnership in the sport with Roush Fenway Racing’s No. 6 car, which is driven by Playoff contender Ryan Newman. However, they have also had a partnership with Richard Petty Motorsports as well.

The motor oil company has sponsored Richard Petty’s grandson Thad Moffitt in ARCA Menards Series competition since 2017.

Well now, it appears that the company will be making a big announcement in 43 days, and it should have something to do with Petty and perhaps a vehicle with the No. 43 according to the clues in a social media post that was fired off on Monday.

No word as to what the announcement will be yet, but this tease comes as Bubba Wallace has knocked down three top-15 finishes over the last five Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races. Could Performance Plus Motor Oil be getting ready to adorn the hood of the famous No. 43 in the Cup Series?

Will they be moving along with Moffitt into a different series where he will pilot a No. 43 car?

Will the announcement be something else?

Time will tell.

However, 43 days from now will be November 5th. That falls on the Tuesday between Texas Motor Speedway and ISM Raceway in Phoenix on the schedule.
