Spot On GPS Fence and Purina Dog Chow will partner with Jeb Burton and Jordan Anderson Racing for this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL.

The special paint scheme on the No. 27 Chevrolet will highlight a unique initiative with the Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation (WBWF) and their annual Emotional Support Dog Program.

As part of their partnership, Spot On will have its branding prominently displayed both on Burton’s firesuit and on board the No. 27 Chevrolet for Jordan Anderson Racing in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Blue Cross NC 250 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet Burton at the SpotOn tent in the Charlotte Motor Speedway Fan Zone on Saturday (October 4). The event will feature autographs, prize giveaways, and the chance to vote for finalists in the SpotOn Gives — the company’s charitable program that has already contributed more than $250,000 to support animal welfare non-profits.

Purina Dog Chow will also make its debut on the No. 27 Chevrolet this weekend at Charlotte’s ROVAL, alongside SpotOn. Both companies joined multiple other donors in supporting the 2025 edition of The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation’s emotional support program, which pairs a trained working dog with a military service member as a part of its various Veteran Outreach program activities.

This year, Golden Retriever “Trooper” will unite with Samantha Mecke. Mecke is currently an active duty Army member, based at Ft Bragg (North Carolina), and a special operations logistics personnel. The WBWF first met Samantha by way of an introduction from last year’s program recipient, Tyr Smank, who met Samantha at another event last year — where his dog, Freedom, made quite the impression on her.

When Tyr met Samantha, she had recently lost her son tragically during the final month of his validation training at his first duty station with the Air Force. As Tyr got to know Samantha, he felt sure that she would be a wonderful recipient of this year’s dog, Trooper. Despite her grief, Samantha has made it her mission to not only continue to serve our country honorably but also to keep the memory of her son, Christian, alive.

“I’m grateful to the various partners that help make this pairing possible,” said Jeb Burton, a board member for The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation. “In addition to Spot On, Golden Corral, Screaming Eagle Ready Mix, and my team owner, John Bommarito, all contributed financially, and Purina Dog Chow made an in-kind product donation to the program this year because they’ve seen the impact that these companions have on the lives of their recipients. I know Trooper and Sam will make a great team, and I’m excited to introduce them.”

Burton will be supporting these impactful causes in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL, with the event taking place on Saturday, October 4 at 5:00 PM ET on The CW, Performance Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
